Originally reported by Squared Circle Sirens via Oz Academy’s website, Aja Kong will be out of action. She will have to have surgery to repair her knee and meniscal injuries. She will be out of action from several shows.
Unfortunately, the rest of her bookings for July and the beginning of August will be missed. Good news is that she is still scheduled for a show on Aug. 25 as a return date.
Kong competed in May at the first pay-per-view event for All Elite Wrestling. She was in the four-way match that saw Britt Baker come out with the win after a surprise addition of Awesome Kong. Aja Kong hasn’t been signed officially to AEW.
