Last Saturday we learned that indy star Athena had been injured and was forced to drop out of her WSU World Title match with Jessicka Havok. Now we’re learning the extent of her injury.
In an exclusive statement to Diva Dirt, Athena reveals that she won’t be able to get an MRI until next week, but has been told that the cartilage around her shoulder has been damaged.
The two-time ACW American Joshi Champion will have to see an orthopedic shoulder surgeon for treatment and will be out of action a minimum of two months.
This means that the SHINE and SHIMMER star will not compete at the upcoming SHINE 12 event, which takes place August 23rd. No matches have been booked yet for the iPPV.
