Mickie was the Golden Girl of WWE after the retirements of Trish and Lita. She, along with the likes of Melina, Jillian Hall and Beth Phoenix, helped to usher in the beginning of the Diva Era which, truthfully, wasn’t that bad in the beginning. However, by 2009, things changed for Mickie and in 2010, she was unceremoniously released, having been a 6-time Champion. She found herself a new lease on life in TNA when she joined in 2010, and captured, at the time, every available major Women’s Championship known to Womankind, now that’s epic. So epic, in fact, that she is one of the most decorated Women’s Champions, with a total of nine title wins. She came back to WWE and brought the house down with Asuka and showed the world that she still is The Woman.
