Velvet Sky has parted ways with TNA. The announcement was made on ImpactWrestling.com, stating that the decision was a mutual one by both parties.
The news comes weeks after rumors speculated that Velvet was in the process of negotiating a new deal with TNA.
Velvet commented on her departure, telling ImpactWrestling.com:
“This has been my home for 10 years and, no matter what happens in my future, I will never forget where I’ve come from or the people who have helped me get where I am. Thank you to everyone at TNA – from talent to production to crew -who has helped me do what I love.”
Velvet Sky is a former two-time Knockouts Champion as well as a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She will finish up her TNA appearance at this week’s TV taping.
