The success of reality TV in the world of women’s wrestling is no secret. From the likes of WWE and E!’s Total Divas garnering hundreds of thousands of viewers weekly, as well as multiple award nominations and red carpet appearances, it can definitely be a great way to bring a mainstream audience into this niche market.

So, what better way to promote the re-launch of an all-female wrestling promotion than to document it in a reality series?

Wrestlicious, the women only wrestling promotion that was known for its sketch comedy, closed its doors in November 2010. However, the company is currently planning a “reality series documenting the procedure of rebuilding its brand” over the next few months.

Reliable sources tell us that the show will center itself around the “behind-the-scenes workers” as well as the “in-ring competitors and entertainers [as everyone] prepares to re-launch the show” into a wider spectrum.

As of today, the show is still awaiting to be green-lit for production.
