Maria worked for the WWE from 2004 to 2010, debuting as part of the first televised Diva Search. She would then joined Ring of Honor, making her debut to the promotion in late 2011 and working alongside her husband Mike Bennett.
The couple then made their way to TNA, debuting in January 2016; going on to win the Knockouts and X-Division Championship respectively and entering an onscreen feud with Cody and Brandi Rhodes.
