A new wave of female talents will be making their way to the WWE come 2017!
PWInsider reports that the WWE have signed a batch of independent stars that include CHIKARA’s first female Grand Champion Kimber Lee, fellow CHIKARA history maker, the 2014 Chikara’s Young Lion’s Cup winner Heidi Lovelace, New Zealand star Evie and UK Star Nixon Newell – who recently dropped the British Empire Wrestling Women’s title to Toni Storm.
All these names are expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in the first week of January 2017.
In addition to this list of names, Squared Circle Siren also reports that WWE have signed model and aspiring MMA fighter Julie Real.
PWInsider adds that WWE is signing mode and officials are working harder than ever to evaluate talents and watch the indie scene. The company reportedly has people watching iPPV events and doing complete agent reports on them, similar to reports the company creates for their own live events to track talents and see how they’re improving.
Though it isn’t confirmed, one can assume that these names may be used to fill in spaces for WWE’s approaching all Women’s Tournament.
