Tonight on SmackDown, acting SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan announced a big Women’s Championship match for next week’s episode of SmackDown Live!
During a backstage segment, Becky Lynch and Daniel Bryan were looking over last week’s match between Becky and the mysterious “La Luchadora”. Becky noted that despite Alexa Bliss competing under the “La Luchadora” mask, she was able to force the Women’s Champion to tap out and therefore, should have another shot at the gold.
Alexa countered Becky’s request by stating she went uncover as a faux Luchadora in an attempt to the identity of the real one but failed to do so thanks to Becky’s interference.

Daniel sided with Lass Kicker and granted her a rematch for Alexa’s Women’s title next week, adding a cage stipulation to ensure there would be no outside interferences.
This match will air next Tuesday, January 17th at 8 pm ET on the USA Network.
