East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA) has announced they will host their fourth annual Super 8 Chickfight Tournament. The eight women who will enter into this year’s Super 8 Chickfight Tournament include: Allie Recks, Christina Marie, Deonna Purrazzo, Kaitlin Diemond, Karen Q, Samantha Heights, Santana Garrett, and Skylar Marie.
Some of the names entered seem to have bigger name value and more history with ECWA. Karen Q being one of the newest, rising names in Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor Division. And of course there is the former TNA/Impact Wrestling/GFW Knockout and recent WWE Mae Young Classic Competitor Santana Garrett.
Deonna Purrazzo seems to the best track record out of all the other women in this tournament as she has been ECWA’s Womens Champion on one occassion, their last champion before the belt was vacated, and has also won the Super 8 Chickfight tournament for the last two year running, defeating Karen Q in the finals of last years.
A small looks into some of the other names, Allie Recks is a 22-year old New Jersey resident who has impressed during her short time in the wrestling business.
Christina Marie is a Powerlifter based in Albany, New York, has appeared for New York based promotion, Word of Hurt Wrestling and The Dynasty.
Skylar Marie, despite her short time in the business, has been adored by every place she has appeared for. She has had impressive bouts against the likes of Terra Callaway, Willow Nightingale, and WWE MYC competitor, Mia Yim.
To other names who has been making waves include Kaitlin Diemond, who has international experience in countries like Mexico with WWS and LLF. Japan for STARDOM, the United Kingdom for the British Empire Wrestling promotion, and even Germany for the German Wrestling Federation.
And there’s Samantha Heights who making a name for herself everywhere she goes. Some of her bigger profile appearances includes promotions like WSU, Queen of Combat, and even SHIMMER.
