With the two recent group beat-down on both brands, you’d think someone would have gotten hurt just a little. Well someone may have done so, at least enough in story-line to be written of television.
According to multiple sources, it appears SmackDown Live’s Becky Lynch will be taking time off. This is so she begin filming her role in ‘The Marine 6: Close Quarters’. The film itself begins production on Monday, Nov. 27, in London.
“The Marine 6: Close Quarters” is the next installment in WWE Studios and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions ‘Marine’ franchise. This film will be directed by James Nunn and will also feature former Intercontinental Champion The Miz, and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
Past female superstars included in The Marine films include Summer Rae from ‘The Marine 4: Moving Target’, and both Maryse and Naomi from ‘The Marine 5: Battleground’.
With Becky likely out, this means there are only two faces currently on the SmackDown roster. This is very unbalanced to the seven heels they have, unless they start turning people soon.
But what do you all think? Are you happy to see Becky in a starring film role? Are you upset to not see her on SmackDown Live! for awhile? Who do you think should make the turn from heel to face on the roster? As always, let us know in the comments below!
