Yesterday during Raw Paige made the announcement that she’ll be retiring from in-ring competition due to injury. Speculation abounded as to what her next role would be. Now we have an answer.
During the opening segment of SmackDown Shane McMahon praised his partner Daniel Bryan‘s performance during their match last night. However, now that Bryan is a full-time performer SmackDown needs a new manager and Shane announced that person is Paige.
