Momo Watanabe won the 2018 STARDOM Cinderella Tournament at Korakuen Hall in Japan last month. She pinned Konami with a top rope Somato in the first round, defeated Jungle Kyona with a B Driver on the apron and kicked her to the floor to win via over the top rope in the second round, and pinned Bea with a Half Nelson Suplex to win the tournament after Io and Mayu fought in the semifinals to a draw, making her match with Bea the finals of the tournament.
After her title win, Momo called out Jungle Kyona and Hazuki as challengers.
During Io Shirai’s reign she broke Santana Garrett‘s record of most title defenses – defending the title 10 times during her second reign.
