Earlier this year, the WWE held introduced a new mini-series known as the Mixed Match Challenge. Streaming via Facebook Watch, the single-elimination mixed tag-team tournament consisted of WWE Superstars from both the Raw and SmackDown LIVE rosters competing to win $100,000 to support the charity of their choice.
The WWE have confirmed that a second season of the Mixed Match Challenge will return later this month on Tuesday September 18th. The second season of the Mixed Match Challenge will consist of fourteen 30-minute episode featuring two matches.
Below are the confirmed ten teams for season two of the Mixed Match Challenge, which features new pairing as well as favorite duo from season one:
Raw:
- Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss
- Bobby Lashley & Sasha Banks
- Finn Bálor & Bayley
- Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox
- Kevin Owens & Natalya
SmackDown:
- The Miz & Asuka (Winning Team of Season 1)
- Jimmy Uso & Naomi
- Rusev & Lana
- AJ Styles & Charlotte Flair
- R-Truth & Carmella.
