Drew McIntyre Says Tiffany Incident Was ‘Complete Misunderstanding’

WWE Superstar, Drew McIntyre (real name Drew Galloway) has spoken for the first time since reports came out last Friday that his wife, WWE Diva Tiffany (real name Taryn Terrell) was arrested following an altercation between the two at a hotel in Los Angeles.

McIntyre, speaking to the Sunday Mail, a newspaper in his homeland of Scotland yesterday, said that the situation was a ‘complete misunderstanding’. “I can’t say anything else until it’s cleared up, which will be very soon,” he told the paper.

Meanwhile, McIntyre’s mother, Angela Galloway, is also quoted in the article saying that Drew and Taryn are still together, suggesting things are not as bad as they seem. “I knew they were going to a party on Saturday but I didn’t know anything about Taryn getting arrested. I spoke to Drew and he said not to worry, that everything had been blown out of proportion. He says he is OK and he and Taryn are still together.”

Glad to see that Drew and Taryn are okay and hopefully this situation resolves itself soon.

BUNNY GIRL’S SMACKDOWN
Taryn arrested for assaulting her husband in LA

THE Bunny girl wife of Scots wrestling champion Drew McIntyre has been arrested for allegedly attacking him.

Taryn Terrell, 24, was detained by police at the couple’s Los Angeles hotel room after security staff raised the alarm. The couple, who married in Las Vegas in May after a whirlwind romance, had been at the Playboy mansion hours earlier for the annual midsummer’s party.

Terrell, who also wrestles under the name Tiffany Diva, was taken into custody at 8am but later released on £10,000 bail. Her Ayr-born husband, who is 6’5″ and weights 18 stone, is a star of World Wrestling Entertainment while she is manager of WWE’s Extreme Championship Wrestling show.

It’s believed the charges against the former Playboy model and Bunny girl include assaulting her spouse. It has been reported that she is due to appear at Los Angeles Municipal Court next month.

Grapple pro McIntyre, 25, was the first Scot to sign a contract with WWE, the world’s biggest wrestling championship. He was not arrested or charged and is standing by his wife. It is believed that when WWE officials found out about the incident they suspended Terrell until further notice.

But last night McIntyre claimed it had all been a “complete misunderstanding.”. He added: “I can’t say anything else until it’s cleared up, which will be very soon.”

Hours before the incident, Terrell posted a photo of herself at the party on Twitter and tweeted: “On my way to the mansion for midsummer’s so ready to have lots of fun.”

McIntyre’s mum, Angela Galloway, said: “I knew they were going to a party on Saturday but I didn’t know anything about Taryn getting arrested. I spoke to Drew and he said not to worry, that everything had been blown out of proportion. He says he is OK and he and Taryn are still together.”

McIntyre moved to the US in 2007 to pursue his-then fledgling wrestling career and changed his surname from Galloway. He became engaged to Terrell in July last year and the couple, who spent much of their time on the road on WWE tours, are based in her native Louisiana.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Mail earlier this year he said: “From the moment Taryn and I met, we clicked. It was fantastic and our relationship has just got better and better.”

Thanks to Cathy for sending that along.
