The current NXT UK Women’s Champion is white hot at the moment. She put on several incredible matches last year, both in other promotions and during the Mae Young Classic. Her match with Meiko Satomura is regarded as the best match of the tournament, and it would be cool to see her match up with someone like Charlotte on Sunday.
Moreover, this could be a way to get more eyes on NXT UK. If Rhea Ripley is in the Rumble as well, this could be a good way to reignite their feud on a big stage. Imagine if Rhea is the one who eliminates her. Those bragging rights could plant the seeds for her to demand a rematch.
LayCool
This pick is a little off the wall, but it might not be that far off. First and foremost, Layla and Michelle McCool are wildly popular online. Whenever the Women’s Tag Team Championship is a topic, LayCool is one of the more popular choices to win the titles.
That’s why it could be a perfect time for them to make a return. McCool had such a strong showing last year, but the pop if she comes out with Layla would be crazy.
It’s highly doubtful they would participate in the Elimination Chamber match or make a WrestleMania appearance. Why not give them a Rumble cameo, or let them pass the torch to a team like the IIconics?
