TNA has announced a big change to Impact Wrestling: this show is moving to Wednesday nights, beginning next week.
The move was announced in a press release, which confirmed that the show will continue to air and 9pm ET.
Commenting on the news, TNA President Dixie Carter said, “Moving IMPACT WRESTLING to Wednesday nights gives existing fans and new viewers an opportunity to enjoy both wrestling and live sports even more throughout the week.”
This follows rumors of WWE’s SmackDown moving back to Thursday nights, which have yet to be confirmed.
The first Wednesday edition of Impact Wrestling airs August 20th at 9pm ET on Spike TV. You can read the full announcement on ImpactWrestling.com.
