#GiveDivasAChance may have actually opened the eyes of WWE officials, as a new report claims that the company is planning on making “major changes” to the way they utilize the Divas.
PWInsider (via Lords of Pain) is reporting that the #GiveDivasAChance fan movement on Twitter, as well as the success of Total Divas, has made the WWE realize that they “need to do more” with the Divas.
According to the report, part of this has to do with the WWE’s desire to not lose the new viewers that Total Divas creates. New fans who tune in to Raw and SmackDown, only to see minimal Diva representation, aren’t likely to stick around, and the WWE is looking to change that.
The past few weeks has seen an uptick in the amount of time Divas are given on Raw and SmackDown, though the true test will come in the post-WrestleMania weeks.
