Alexa Bliss might have a new foe to face at TakeOver: Brooklyn.
After costing The Vaudevillains a possible NXT Tag Team Titles win on the July 29th episode of NXT, Alexa has been the subject of much of the team’s ire. When NXT GM William Regal granted them a rematch for TakeOver, he advised them to find a way to neutralize her. This has led to speculation that a new Diva will debut by their side.
The official WWE.com preview for the match hints at this as well:
NXT General Manager William Regal granted the old school duo a championship rematch at the Barclays Center on Aug. 22, but suggested that English & Gotch find a way to counteract Alexa Bliss this time around. Can The Vaudevillains neutralize the ever-present threat of Alexa Bliss, or will Blake & Murphy manage to walk out of Brooklyn with the NXT Tag Team Championship?
Help for the Vaudevillains may very well come in the form of one of the newer Diva signees, but who it could be is anybody’s guess.
