The WWE has provided an update on the condition of Lana, who underwent surgery this week to repair her injured wrist.
WWE’s senior ringside physician Dr. Chris Amann spoke to WWE.com, explaining the operation in detail and shedding light on Lana’s condition:
“Lana underwent open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of a left distal radius fracture with a volar plate. The fracture was stabilized and returned to its normal anatomic position during the surgery using the volar plate and screws. Lana did very well without any complications and is expected to make a full recovery.”
Lana has tweeted twice post-surgery, her first tweet either referencing her storyline rift with Dolph Ziggler or her disappointment at being sidelined:
The broken wrist hurts but the disappointed heart hurts so much more. Time will heal but scars will be there to remind me of my pain

Her second tweet, posted late last night, included a post-surgery video:

Lana injured her wrist on Sunday while training in the ring prior to a WWE live event. Early estimates had her out of active competition for four months, but no timeline has been confirmed post-surgery.
