Knockouts Match to Main Event This Week’s Impact

The Knockouts will do battle in the main event of this week’s Impact as Awesome Kong and Gail Kim go head to head in TNA World Title Series.

The news was announced by TNA President Dixie Carter today on Instgram:

Proud to present Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong as the main event on this Wednesday's #WorldTitleSeries edition of @impactwrestling. Gail vs. Kong is arguably one of the most iconic rivalries in the last decade and their matches have changed the way audiences perceive women's wrestling. TNA’s World Title Series, which kicked off earlier this month, is still in its group stage. Groups will compete in round-robin style, with the two highest point-earners advancing to a single elimination tournament that will crown the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Group Knockouts consists of Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, Brooke and Madison Rayne. With two matches down, Kong and Brooke lead the field with a win apiece.

Gail and Kong’s main event will air this Wednesday on Impact, airing at 9pm ET on Destination America.
