Adelaide Championship Wrestling (ACW) in Australia has been promoting intergender wrestling as one of their main storylines for well over a year now, like Lucha Underground is doing on television worldwide. Last month ACW crowned their first Evolve Champion which was Riley, who was the only female competitor in the Evolve Tournament.
ACW ran the ACW Evolve Championship Tournament to crown the first winner of the ACW Evolve Championship over the previous 4 months, and Riley was the only female competitor to enter the tournament and overcame the odds stacked against her to become the first ACW Evolve Champion at ACW’s event called Redemption, which also had former WWE star Orlando Jordan defending his ACW Heavyweight Championship.
Riley’s first title defense is on July 14th against a male competitor Andy Faust. Riley has started to develop a reputation as an intergender specialist on a local level in Australia.
