Ayako Hamada under a three-year period of probation

Former Impact Wrestling Knockout Ayako Hamada is under a three-year period of probation in Japan because of possession of stimulant drugs.

Back in May, Hamada called Sendai Girls’ staff to tell them that she was not able to wrestle because she was attacked by four men with knives. The company called the police. Around this time, Pro-Wrestling WAVE also terminated her from her contract with the company due to the situation.

According to Lucha Central, Hamada used stimulants in her home in Japan. The police discovered her under the effects of drugs and she was arrested. Two months later, the police department sentenced her to three years of probation. If she does it again, she will go to the jail for 18 months. This information was told to MedioTiempo by Ayako’s sister, Xóchitl Hamada.

Between the allegations, Ayako said that after 19 years of in-ring experience, she has decided to quit. Additionally, Hamada said that she is considering becoming a Japanese-Spanish translator.
