Kay Lee Ray has been on a roll as of late. The ICW World Women’s Champion successfully defended her title at ICW Square Go! against NXT UK Women’s Champion, Toni Storm. Speaking of, WWE’s latest signee will be making her NXT UK debut this upcoming Wednesday. Before that happens, The Hardcore Daredevil had the chance to add some gold to her already lucrative resume.
Tonight, Pro-Wrestling EVE’s held their She Slams on Saturdays event. The main event pitted KLR against fellow NXT UK competitor, Nina Samuels. Samuels has held the Pro-Wrestling EVE Championship for the past 119 days. She defeated former champ Charlie Morgan last November in a triple threat for the title, which also featured Ray in the mix.
Tonight’s one-on-one match with Kay Lee Ray was a hard fought title defense for Samuels. However, all it took was a signature Gory Bomb from KLR for the title to switch hands. After wrestling for EVE for nearly eight years straight, Kay Lee Ray wins her first ever Pro-Wrestling EVE Championship.
