Post-Mania plans for Women’s Title picture already in place

Stephanie McMahon announced last night on RAW that this Sunday’s main event between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair will be a “Winner Takes All” match for both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Titles. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, per a Wrestling Inc. report, plans for the title picture post-WrestleMania are starting to take shape.

Meltzer has speculated that after the dust settles and a double champion is crowned at WrestleMania, the angle leading out of that would focus on the person who would have lost their championship without taking a pinfall or submission loss. The champion is expected to feud with whoever wasn’t pinned in the match.

Dave Meltzer proclaimed that no matter what happens, Becky Lynch is expected to walk out of Metlife Stadium with both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Titles after WrestleMania.

The WON journalist also added that whoever takes the pin or submission on Sunday will depend on whether or not Ronda Rousey is going to be taking a break from WWE after WrestleMania. She’ll be taking the pinfall/submission to put Becky over if she were to leave. If she’s sticking around, then Charlotte would be the one to take the loss.
