Warrior Wrestling crowned their first women’s champion

At Warrior Wrestling 5, the indie promotion crowned their inaugural women’s champion. On Sunday night, the match for the vacant title featured Jordynne Grace, Tessa Blanchard, and special guest referee, Nora Greenwald—better known as Molly Holly.

The match was a result of the finish of Britt Baker vs. Kylie Rae at the Warrior Wrestling 4. They two up-and-coming AEW stars competed for the chance to face Grace for the new title. However, Jessicka Havok interfered and ambushed them both just as it looked like Baker would win via submission.

The promotion inserted Blanchard into the match instead because there was no winner. In addition, they added WWE Legend, Nora Greenwald, as the special guest referee.

In a competitive match, Greenwald even came into play, as Grace powerslammed her down onto her opponent. Still, Blanchard eventually defeated her fellow IMPACT Knockout to become the first Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion and add another title to her collection.
