Dakota Kai has been out of action due to injury since December and she is ready for her return. It has been announced that Kai will be returning soon from a promo this week on NXT. The date has not been provided, but according to NXT’s Twitter they stated: “See you soon.”
She started teasing her return in July by stating she would be back “in a matter of weeks.” She hard surgery in January from her ACL injury and has kept active on social media to show her recovery. Kai has become a fan favorite and many want to see her dethrone the NXT Women’s Champion, Shayna Baszler.
Currently, there is a Fatal Four-way scheduled for the number one contendership for Baszler’s title, and Kai is not a part of it. It was rumored prior to her injury that she was heading for a push towards the title picture. The Captain of Team Kick is back and she is ready to show people what she is capable of doing.
