It was originally advertised that Naomi would be at the WWE Live event in Puerto Rico this past weekend. Of course, as always what is advertised is subject to change and that is exactly what occurred with this event. It was originally stated that Naomi would team with Natalya to face Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
The match instead was still a tag team one but saw Natalya team with Nikki Cross. This made logical sense as Alexa Bliss has been missing in action since the draft from a couple of weeks ago. They walked away with the victory after defeating Tamina and Sarah Logan.
It appears we will have to continue to wait for Naomi’s return which as she has previously stated will happen when the time is right. Diva Dirt continues to wish her well during her time away from the ring.
Also instead of Sasha Banks facing Becky Lynch, the event saw Lacey Evans face the RAW Women’s Champion. Lynch would walk away with that victory to retain her title.
