It has been previously reported that for this weekend SHIMMER is hosting its tapings on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 for Volumes 114-117. During these tapings, we are going to see a new Interim Heart of SHIMMER Champion crowned.
The reason for the interim title is because of the current champion Samantha Heights being out due to injury. According to SHIMMER’s policy if a champion is out of action due to injury they do not vacate the title. Her surgery had to be rescheduled which has caused her time out to be extended. In the meantime, they have offered the idea of an interim champion.
It has now been announced the way the matches will be constructed and the participants. Since the tapings are over the course of two days, on Nov. 2 there will be three qualifying matches. The winners of these three matches will have a three-way match on Nov. 3 to determine the winner and interim champion.
The contenders will be Rhia O’Reilly, Marti Belle, Veda Scott, Hyan, Kris Statlander, and Brittany Blake.
