The Boss is back. Sasha Banks has been cleared for in-ring action and will face Nikki Cross on tomorrow’s Friday Night SmackDown.
We haven’t seen Banks in the ring since her brutal Hell in a Cell match against Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship on Oct. 6. We reported back on Oct. 11. that Banks was on the injured list due to a damaged tail bone. Then on Oct. 12. it was announced that The Boss would face Becky Lynch on RAW but she would be replaced by Charlotte.
Since then Banks has been ringside with Bayley and was the recipient of a face full of ring post courtesy of Shayna Baszler‘s invasion last week. Surely there is receipt coming for that?
As the NXT invasion storyline heats up with Bayley, Baszler and Lynch, facing off at Survivor Series on Nov. 24. Sasha Banks will no doubt want to get in on the action. Now, allow me to put my fantasy booking head on, but a feud with Bianca Belair both on the mic and in the ring would be money.
Anyway back to the topic at hand. It is great to see Banks back in the ring as her return and feud with Becky Lynch showed us just how important to the division she is.
