WrestleMania Update: Event being moved to the WWE Performance Center

WWE has finally made the decision on what to do in regards to WrestleMania amid the Coronavirus pandemic. WrestleMania will no longer take place in Tampa Bay, Fla. but it will continue to take place on April 5. The biggest event of the year will now be held in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. with no live audience.

WWE has released the following statement:

In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

The current confirmed women’s matches on the card are:

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler for the RAW Women’s Championship
