Io Shirai made her surprising return tonight and inserted herself into a qualifying match intended for Xia Li. Li was set to face Aliyah in a one-on-one match to determine the fourth out of six competitors for the future number one contender Ladder Match. Aliyah already out in the ring, Li wasn’t making her entrance. She was taken out backstage by an unknown attacker.

The next match was Candice LeRae vs. Kayden Carter for that fifth spot. Carter would have been a nice addition to the ladder match and would be a nice push for her. Unfortunately for her, this will not be her moment as she took another loss. LeRae caught Carter in the Gargano Escape which would cause a tap out and submission victory.
This still leaves one more spot for the highly anticipated Ladder Match. This qualifying match will take place next week as the Ladder Match itself will take place in two weeks.
