Rachael Evers, also known by her real last name Ellering, is being added to the list of Superstars that have been released from WWE. Last month dozens of in-ring talent along with other staff were released from the company as a result of saving costs from the current health pandemic.
Evers was a part of the NXT brand and she originally signed her deal in January 2019. In July she went on the injury list as she suffered a torn ACL at an NXT live event.
Before signing with the company, Evers had a few matches between 2016 and 2017. She participated in both Mae Young Classics. In the first tournament, she lost in the second round by being eliminated by Abbey Laith. She was eliminated in the first round to Hiroyo Matsumoto in the second tournament.
Other than NXT, Evers has wrestled on the indie scene and has appeared for IMPACT Wrestling. She faced former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn in 2018 at Coastal Championship Wrestling’s Breaking Chains event. This was Kaitlyn’s first match since leaving WWE in 2014 and Evers lost the match.
Evers now goes by her real last name on social media and she has posted the following as a response to her release:
Diva Dirt wishes Rachael Ellering the best for her future and hope to see her again soon.
