Chief Branding Officer of AEW, Brandi Rhodes took to Twitter today to announce a brand new venture named ‘AEW Heels’
As the tweet states, AEW Heels is a new community for women who love wrestling.
The video shows all of the women involved in AEW such as Nyla Rose, Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker and Kris Statlander.
In the video Brandi says;
“I would like to be heard. I’d like to feel included. I’d like to feel respected. I would love a sense of community. I’d like to be taken seriously. I’d like to just be myself. I want to know that I matter, that my thoughts, my perspective, my ideas, my creativity, my happiness. I want to know that it matters. I’d like to do more than just watch. I’d like to actually contribute. I’d like to be part of a movement. I like for everyone to feel confident… In their own heels,”
This is a step in the right direction for AEW’s women’s division, which has been underwhelming at best. Hopefully, this new movement/community will bring a lot more emphasis and spotlight on the women of AEW
More details are to come in this week so stay tuned to Diva Dirt to see what they are.
