The RAW women’s division was sent in a whirlwind by the shocking announcement made by prior champion Becky Lynch last week. Lynch is now out because she is with child and we have a new champion in that of Asuka. This drastically changes the landscape of the red brand women’s roster.
Moving from what has changed from the RAW Women’s Championship picture to what could change in the Women’s Tag Team division, a return of The IIconics last week left many people talking. The duo haven’t been seen since the end of last year and they are back and ready to go straight to the top.
They picked up a win against the tag champs Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss last week and have earned a title match tonight. Could they become the two-time champions tonight?
Although not officially announced on WWE’s official website, Natalya has mentioned she will have a match with Shayna Baszler tonight. The two battled last week as Nattie took offense to Baszler’s remarks about Becky Lynch’s announcement. Baszler ended up with a win against the veteran. Nattie was able to avoid a stomp to her arm as many have been victim to this in the past several weeks but she still took the pin. She has announced on her social media that she and Baszler will go at it again tonight in a Submission Match.
