Diamante returns to AEW for the first time since February and will be in action on tonight’s episode of Dark. Diamante will team with Rache Chanel to take on the tumultuous team of Allie and Brandi Rhodes.
Diamante has appeared on AEW Dark before taking on Big Swole back in January, 15 and against Kris Statlander in February, 12.
Diamante isn’t the only one returng to the AEW ring tonight. Rache Chanel recently took on Big Swole on the July, 7 episode of Dark.
The timing of Diamante’s appearance is interesting as it comes five days after Diamante called out AEW and Kenny Omega on their disproportionate booking of the women’s division. Referring to Nyla Rose’s match at Fyter Fest – Night 2, Diamante shed light on the minimal amount of time that was allocated to the women during the 2-hour show.
AEW’s women’s division has been hit and miss despite having a great roster. Many fans have voiced their criticism of the company’s handling of their women’s division and despite promises from Omega, Cody and Brandi Rhodes we are yet to see substantial improvement.
Diamante would be a great addition to the women’s roster. She is young, hungry and not scared to voice her opinions. Judging by her tweet she certainly has a point to prove on tonight’s show.
