The 2020 WWE Draft has come to an end and everyone from the red & blue brands has a home. That is, except six-time WWE Women’s Champion and Legend Mickie James. Despite James having a promo video and announcing her excitement for the draft, she was the only woman in the end not drafted. This has made her a Free Agent.
This idea of James being a Free Agent left some fans hoping that means she will be moving to SmackDown or even going to NXT. This would perhaps be a fresh change of pace for James and maybe give her a new person to chase for a title. It is being rumored by PWInsider that as of Monday night, the plan is to keep James on RAW.
Why they couldn’t just draft her if they didn’t have anything special planned for her is unknown. The last post on Twitter that Mickie sent out in regards to the Draft was on Monday and she had the following to say:
There has been no official word from WWE at this time on what brand we will see Mickie on moving forward.
James has confirmed that she recently suffered a broken nose and will be out of action only for a short time. Which brand do you hope that James ends up on and who should she face next?
