Allysin Kay has announced that she is now a free agent. The former NWA World Women’s Champion posted the news on Twitter and thanked NWA in the process.
Kay captured the vacant NWA women’s title by defeating Santana Garrett at last year’s Crockett Cup. She would successfully defend the title against Marti Belle, Heather Monroe and ODB before officially singing with NWA and becoming a regular on NWA Powerrr.
Kay would lose the title to thunder Rosa at the pay-per-view Hard Times in an excellent match.
Most recently, Kay took part in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, at The Collective weekend and faced Nicole Savoy on UWN’s Prime Time TV.
She is a former two-time Knockouts Champion, one-time GFW Women’s Champion and two-time SHINE Champion.
As a well-decorated, highly-accomplished and legitimate fighter, Allysin Kay would be an excellent addition to any roster and it will be really interesting to see where she goes next.
