Shanna is back in AEW after a ten-month absence to take on Tesha Price on next week’s AEW Dark.
The last time Shanna was on AEW television was way back in February when she faced Hikaru Shida, Big Swole and Yuka Sakazaki in a four-way match on Dynamite.
Shanna was unable to perform for AEW over this period because of the travel restrictions put in place due to Covid. Shanna lives in Nimes, France and was therefore not allowed to travel to America until now.
Since joining AEW, Shanna became one of AEW’s most popular wrestlers with great matches against, Shida, and Nyla Rose. She is one of the company’s most experienced and accomplished wrestlers and her return after such a long hiatus is a massive boost for the women’s division.
The card also offers up another four exciting women’s matches.
KiLynn King will be looking to continue her winning streak faces the returning Katalina Perez.
Leva Bates takes on the Pink Dream, Alex Gracia, who is making her third appearance on Dark.
Lindsay Snow will face Ivelisse in what will no doubt be a hard-hitting affair between the two warriors.
Last and certainly not least, Lady Frost makes her second appearence for AEW to take on Red Velvet.
This set of matches, makes it three consecutive weeks that Dark has featured five women’s matches.
