The second episode of AEW Dark: Elevation takes place this Monday on March 22 and Red Velvet will be showcased. She is being listed to be featured as a Rising Star profile. There aren’t any other details for what this may entail at this time.
Red Velvet has been a mainstay for AEW since she debuted for the company last June. Her rise in the company has been fun to watch and she had a huge break out performance alongside Cody Rhodes against Jade Cargill & Shaq. Besides a loss in that match, Velvet has won every match she has been a part of since November.
As of the latest AEW Rankings for March 17 she sits pretty at the top spot.
Last week was the debut episode on YouTube of Dark: Elevation which is added as a third show (second on YouTube) for AEW. That episode saw a women’s match as the main event with Riho going over on Maki Itoh. Five additional women’s matches were on that card.
This week so far there has been one match added as part of a “Triple Main Event” for the show. Leyla Hirsch, who was officially made All Elite last week, will be in action against Ryo Mizunami. More matches may be announced prior to tomorrow.
Tuesday’s regular Dark episode matches haven’t been revealed as of yet and for Dynamite on Wednesday, Tay Conti will take on Nyla Rose.
