Female stable was reportedly nixed in 2020 that included Chelsea Green

In a recent report from Fightful Select, they spoke with Chelsea Green since her WWE release and she talked about a female group that was planned in 2020. Green was part of the releases that took place this past week from WWE. She moved to SmackDown at the end of 2020 but suffered an injury in her debut match on the brand. Although being cleared to return, she never made it back on TV.

Speaking with Fightful, Green says that there was a plan of a female stable that would have included Vanessa Borne and Santana Garrett. There were reports throughout last year that all three women had been moved to the main roster.

Borne hasn’t been seen since they broke her away from Aliyah in NXT. She was last seen in a Battle Royal in January 2020. As for Garrett, she was last seen in the Royal Rumble this year. She has not made an official debut on either SmackDown or RAW.

The plan for the female stable was supposed to be a “Pussycat Dolls meets Charlie Angels” type of group. They met with writers about it but it never came to fruition.

Last month, both Green and Garrett posted photos of them backstage at SmackDown but were not used. Green further told Fightful that she had planned on being at SmackDown this week before she was released.
