On this week’s NXT, the recently crowned NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions spent their time being pampered in style as they were having a spa day.
While they were enjoying their time relaxing, they discussed about Indi Hartwell being over Dexter Lumis. With cucumbers on their eyes, they didn’t realize that it was Lumis for a moment being the masseur and he heard their disparaging remarks about him.
Later on, Candice LeRae was approached by one of the masseuses (who was Ivy Nile) who let her know her credit card declined. Come to find out her card was declined due to a unpaid expense from a florist three weeks ago. It was LeRae who had sent the flowers and candy to Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon and it wasn’t Lumis. When Hartwell figured it out, she got excited and ran off.
While the tag team champions were having their day off, Dakota Kai was putting the thought out there that she and NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez need to be tag team champions again. They had a run in with Ever Rise who said that Blackheart & Moon were next in line.
Blackheart & Moon had their own promo calling out both The Way and Kai/Gonzalez. General Manager William Regal made a number one contender between Blackheart/Moon and Kai/Gonzalez for next week.
As for the results of the matches from this week, they are as follows:
Toni Storm defeated Zoey Stark
Sarray defeated Aliyah
Storm and Stark had a rematch in which Storm was determined to win. She lost to Stark at the last TakeOver and didn’t want to “rookie” to get another victory. Storm delivered an incredible finisher that we haven’t seen before to get the pin and the win after a highly competitive match.
After the match the lights went out and Franky Monet’s music hit as she made her way out to the stage. She presented the reminder that next week she will be having her in-ring debut. Her opponent has not been announced at the time of this writing.
Sarray picks up another win and continues to remain undefeated since her NXT debut. Aliyah did get in some solid offense, but she was no match for The Warrior of the Sun.
Hit Row also made their official in-ring debut as a faction. B-Fab led the stable out to the ring and did her managerial duties. Hopefully she will be able to get in the ring herself soon.
