Now that we are in the month of July, we are even closer to having a new Ms. Money in the Bank shortly. The blue brand of SmackDown, who currently is hurting when it comes to the ladies on their roster, has only one confirmed woman for the upcoming ladder match. That woman is Carmella.
Carmella is a two-time Money in the Bank winner, and although WWE Authority Sonya Deville gave her a spot in the match, Liv Morgan has two victories over her. Morgan defeated Carmella last week to prove to Deville that she should be in the MITB match. Will Deville give her a spot that she rightfully deserves?
The match is scheduled to have eight women involved and added to Carmella is RAW’s Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Asuka, and Nikki Cross.
As for the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture, it appears that the champion Bianca Belair isn’t finished with Bayley. The two had a mixed tag team match last week in which Bayley pinned Belair. Belair did defeat Bayley however inside Hell in a Cell the weekend before.
These two will most likely collide once again at the Money in the Bank event.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions of Natalya and Tamina have been having their issues with RAW’s Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. It appears we are leading towards a title match between the two teams. However, Natalya and Tamina were watching Carmella vs. Liv Morgan last week so perhaps they have eyes on joining the MITB match as well.
