AEW President Tony Khan granted Thunder Rosa’s request to face Penelope Ford on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
Rosa demanded the match with Ford to get revenge on the Bad Girl after she attacked Masha Slamovich on AEW Dark.
One of the many matches on the show saw Ford take on Slamovich in her AEW debut.
Despite Slamovich taking the fight to Ford and landing some nice offence, she overcame and forced the Russian the submit. However, Ford added insult to injury and refused to release the hold.
Thunder Rosa raced from the commentary booth to make the save for her fellow MPW wrestler. Upon Rosa’s entry into the ring, Ford broke the hold and made her escape.
Also on Dark Tay Conti defeated another AEW debutant, Rebecca Scott in a good showing for the popular Brazilian.
Kris Statlander remains unbeaten since her return to the ring after beating Kiera Hogan.
Finally, Nyla Rose destroyed Tina San Antonio with a big Beast Bomb in thirty seconds before Vickie Guerrero screamed down the microphone. Guerrero proclaimed that Rose would be the women’s champion again, despite losing her last two attempts.
Results from Elevation are as follows:
Diamante defeated Julia Hart with the assistance of a chain. This brought out Big Swole who is nowhere near finished with the Cuban Diamond.
Hikaru Shida beat the debuting Keira Hogan, Thunder Rosa defeated Ray Lynn and Jade Cargill destroyed Katie Arquette.
