NXT Women’s Title match reportedly pulled from tonight’s show

It is being reported that the advertised NXT Women’s Championship match slated for tonight’s launch of NXT 2.0 has been pulled from the show. The match was set for NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez to defend her title against Franky Monet.

The report originally comes from Fightful Select who states that they have learned the match will not take place but a reason was not given. They were informed that the match was called off as early as Monday morning. It is not clear if either Gonzalez or Monet will appear on tonight’s show in general.

WWE has released the preview of tonight’s show on WWE.com. The NXT Women’s Championship match is no longer being advertised and there has been no mention on the companies social media accounts.

The InDex wedding between Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis is still advertised and Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter will be looking for payback on Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne after the attack last week.

WWE.com:

Moments after coming up short in a heartbreaker against NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark last week, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter were suddenly attacked by Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, and Mandy Rose at the top of the entranceway.

Update since this article’s first posting:

B-FAB will be making her debut on tonight’s show. An opponent has not been announced.

Check back in with Diva Dirt later tonight to join in on the NXT Discussion Post.
