Santana Garrett is one of wrestling’s hottest free agents and is currently considering options when it comes to her next wrestling home.
Garrett was a guest on Lucha Libre Online and spoke about her future in wrestling destinations and disclosed she is talking to different promotions.
“I’m keeping my options open, I’m talking to a few different companies. I’m not opposed to going somewhere I’ve already been. I feel like I’ve kept relationships up over the years with a lot these promoters that I’ve worked for. I’ve never left a company with ill will. Right now, I’m just keeping my options open. I have a few things coming up. Stay tuned people.”
Garrett wrestled on the recent set of AEW Dark tapings in their home of Universal Studios a place she is very familiar with from her days in TNA/IMPACT! Garret had three spells in the company in 2013, 2014 and 2017.
“When it airs, you’ll see. Some people won’t understand it, but I did a promo and the first thing I said is, ‘Well this place looks a little familiar. We were literally in the IMPACT Zone from ten years ago at Universal Studios.”
During her wrestling career, Santana Garrett has wrestled all over the world for promotions such as NWA, SHIMMER, ROH and MLW before signing with WWE in 2019.
Garrett will be returning to SHINE where she is a former SHINE Champion. The upcoming SHINE 69 event takes place on Sunday, Oct. 24
WWE released Garrett along with Lana and Ruby Soho earlier this year.
