Alexa Bliss is reportedly taking time off from being on-screen since her loss at Extreme Rules over this past weekend. She faced Charlotte Flair for the RAW Women’s Championship and came up short before Flair destroyed her doll – Lilly.
Prior to RAW this past Monday, it was reported by Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. in an exclusive that Bliss would be taken off TV for the time being. He was told that she would be off for “a few months.” A reason wasn’t divulged at that time.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has added to this report by stating that she will be out for sinus surgery.
Bliss was not on RAW following her loss on Extreme Rules and the destruction of Lilly may have been a way to write her off WWE programming for the time being. Flair issued an open challenge on Monday in which Doudrop answered.
WWE nor Alexa Bliss have confirmed these reports at this time.
