The 2021 WWE Draft is here and it starts tonight on SmackDown. The second night will be this coming Monday’s RAW on Oct. 4.
We will update you throughout the night as draft picks are made by adding them to this Discussion Post [just refresh this page throughout the show].
The rules are as follows:
– Half of the roster is eligible tonight, half on Raw. Those eligible have not been disclosed
– Undrafted Superstars become free agents. As a free agent, they get to choose what brand they want to be on.
– Changes take effect October 22, the night after Crown Jewel.
Prior reports have stated that NXT is to be a part of this draft in the realm of call-ups being made. According to the announcement above, NXT was included in the list.
Such names as Xia Li, Aliyah, and Dakota Kai are ones that may be part of the draft if we go by where they sit currently off of NXT programming and have had main roster Dark Matches.
Other than the draft, Sasha Banks is being advertised for tonight. She returned at Extreme Rules this past Sunday where she caused a disqualification in the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. After her return and attack on both women, she stated she would see them Friday. Friday is here.
The Boss will be facing The EST tonight in the main event.
With everything going on tonight with the draft, we are going to continue with not having AEW’s own Rampage Discussion Post. Once SmackDown is over if you would like to discuss what happens on Rampage you can do so below. A Triple Threat will take place between Thunder Rosa, Nyla Rose, and Jade Cargill.
