Willow Nightingale has the honor of picking up the first win in the debut of MLW’s Women’s Featherweight Division. This match took place on MLW Fusion Alpha and her opponent was Ashley Vox of The Sea Stars.
In an excellent match between two fantastic competitors, Willow pulled out the win by delivering a Willow Bomb. You can view the match from the YouTube link below.
This was the first women’s match to air for the promotion’s newly formed Featherweight Division but there were two matches at the recent Fightland taping. Nicole Savoy took on Holidead and a tag team match took place between The Sea Stars and Zoey Skye & Willow Nightingale. This event will be airing tonight, Oct. 7, on Vice TV.
Willow is also currently being involved in ROH where she has an upcoming Three-way match [which is one of two] to name a number one contender for the ROH Women’s Championship.
Ashley Vox has had a busy week as she was also featured on ROH’s Women’s Division Wednesday. She faced Chelsea Green. This was Green’s debut singles match with the promotion. She would pick up the win after a distraction on the outside. Towards the end of the match, The Allure made their way out to the ringside area. Following the veteran team was The Hex who then got into a scuffle. Vox attempted to get the pin off the distraction with a roll up. Green reverses it to get the three count. The Hex celebrate with Green in the ring post-match.
