Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch continue to be the talk of the wrestling world with their seemingly real-life rivalry.
Stemming from their infamous title exchange some weeks ago Lynch and Flair reports flooded wrestling media stating that the Queen had become increasingly difficult to work with.
Both champions have since added fuel to the fires of speculation by firing shots at one another on promos, interviews and social media.
In a recent interview with WWE on BT Sport, Flair addressed the controversy surrounding the reports about her:
“Yes obviously, it does rub people the wrong way. But if I were a man, would I rub people the wrong way? I mean, no one ever looks at a man and goes, ‘why does he want to be the world champion again? He’s been on top all these years.’
Is it because I’m a woman? Because I’ve done it all? Because we have a smaller division? Why?
Charlotte is difficult? Why? Is it because I stand up for what I believe in? That makes me difficult? If I was a man, people would say I have big balls, right? I know how good I am, I’m the best.”
A video of the interview was posted on social media, which allowed The Man to respond to Flair’s comments. Lynch fired back at the SmackDown Women’s Champion stating that gender isn’t the issue, no one in WWE acts like her.
“No one on our roster acts like this, man or woman. Gender ain’t the issue here.”
Lynch and Flair meet in what is looking to be an incredibly heated affair at Survivor Series this Sunday in Brooklyn, New York.
