WWE Authority Sonya Deville has confirmed on her social media that it will be Toni Storm that will take the last and final spot on Team SmackDown for Survivor Series.
The teams were first confirmed on social media two weekends ago and originally Aliyah was part of the team. As excited as she was to be a part of it, Deville removed her this past Friday on SmackDown. After Aliyah achieved the biggest win of her career in her debut match in tag team action with an assist by Naomi, Deville stated that she was advised to remove her from the team.
Toni Storm hasn’t had many appearances since being called up to the SmackDown roster. She appeared last week and confronted Charlotte Flair to challenge her for a SmackDown Women’s Title Match. Flair declined the challenge.
Storm joins the rest of team blue – Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Natalya, and Shayna Baszler as they will take on the member of Team RAW – Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Carmella, Queen Zelina, and Rhea Ripley. Survivor Series takes place this Sunday on Nov. 21.
This Friday’s SmackDown will be the last event before the show to provide a final build. Already scheduled will be two members of Team SmackDown facing off as Shotzi takes on Sasha Banks.
